In asteptarea premiilor “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018”: Care sunt restaurantele nou intrate in top 51-100
Ca un preambul al premiilor “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018”, a caror ceremonie de decernare va avea loc chiar in aceasta seara, la Bilbao, va invitam sa aruncam o privire asupra restaurantelor ce compun anul acesta clasamentul locurilor 51-100 si sa descoperim care sunt cele 12 „nou-intrate”.
Reamintim ca Bilbao este al treilea oras ales sa gazduiasca ceremonia de premiere “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants”, dupa Melbourne in 2017 si New York in 2016, dupa ce timp de 13 ani acest eveniment a avut loc numai la Londra.
Alegerea orasului din Tara Bascilor nu este deloc surprinzatoare, regiunea fiind recunoscuta de mult timp ca una dintre cele mai bogate si binecuvantate din punct de vedere gastronomic, cu o mare “concentratie” de restaurante cotate cu stele Michelin si, de asemenea, cu multe restaurante ce au o prezenta constanta in lista celor mai bune 50 din lume. Mai exact, Tara Bascilor este “casa” restaurantelor Arzak, Mugaritz, Asador Etxebarri si Azurmendi.
De altfel, Guvernului basc s-a implicat activ in organizare, iar programul manifestarilor a cuprins, pe langa mult asteptata gala de premiere, si alte evenimente, cum ar fi Chefs’ Feast – o intrunire intima, dedicata exclusiv bucatarilor din restaurantele cuprinse in lista The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, live-ul #50BestTalks – unde au vorbit unii dintre cei mai cunoscuti chef-i din lume, precum Joan Roca, Eneko Atxa, Gaggan Anand, Clare Smyth, Dan Barber, Paul Pairet si Christina Tosi sau manifestarea Food meets Art, tinuta la muzeul Guggenheim si “gazduita” de Marta Arzak, care a reunit atat bucatari cat si artisti, iar Alain Passard si Massimo Bottura, impreuna cu artista portugheza Joana Vasconcelos si arhitectul Giulio Cappellini, au adus in atentie “relatia” fascinanta dintre arta si gastronomie. De asemenea, alte evenimente s-au defasurat in San Sebastian, la Basque Culinary Center.
Anul trecut, the Best Restaurant in the World a fost desemnat Eleven Madison Park din New York, condus de Daniel Humm si Will Guidara.
